Footpath 19 Great Totham
The above order was made on 30 November 2023. The effect of the order will be to divert a part length of Footpath 19 Great Totham commencing from a point northeast of its junction with Holloway Road, Heybridge CM9 4BJ grid ref: 58564,20898, and south of Heybridge Wood, proceeding in a general northward direction on the western side and to a point just north of the wood, to an alternative route commencing from the aforementioned point northeast of Holloway Road, proceeding in a general northward direction along a demarcated pathway parallel to the existing path before turning westward to join another demarcated pathway adjacent to the new estate road where it then heads north eastward traversing the estate road and continuing to rejoin the unaffected part of Footpath 19 south of the new relief road.
The order will also divert an additional part length of Footpath 19 commencing from a point at grid reference 58554,20936 at the southern edge of the relief road, proceeding north eastward across the relief road to its northern side, to an alternative footpath commencing from the southern edge of the relief road, proceeding northward across the relief road via a central island then eastward to join the unaffected part of Footpath 19 north of the relief road, as shown on the order map.

Copies can be posted by emailing publicpathorders@essexhighways.org and are available on the Essex Highways website at: https://www.essexhighways.org/transport-and-roads/getting-around/public-rights-of-way/public-path-notices.aspx copies have also been sent to Great Totham Parish Council.
Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Andrew Ritchings, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 18 January 2024. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Maldon District Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order. Any such representations or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.
