NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1209 From B4348 To Urishay House Access Road, Peterchurch, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1209 From B4348 To Urishay House Access Road, Peterchurch, from the junction of the B4348 to the junction of the C1207. Grid Ref: 334671/238157.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1207 onto the U75407, onto the B4348 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new electricity supply works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 3rd of January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
