What is happening?
Temporary Closure of Footway Adjacent 14 Brownsea Avenue to Rushcombe Way, Corfe Mullen, Corfe Mullen
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Footway Adjacent 14 Brownsea Avenue to Rushcombe Way, Corfe Mullen. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 8th January 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2nd February 2024. Residents access will be maintained. This Order will enable SGN, safe access to relay and decommission gas main. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place.

Any person who uses or permits the use of the route in contravention of the Notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
Temporary Traffic Management Order of Wareham Road, Corfe Mullen
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on between 09:00 - 16:00 on 8th January 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18th January 2024.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Wareham Road, Corfe Mullen as indicated by signs on site.
[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Wareham Road, Corfe Mullen.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections. Temporary Closure of New Lane, East Morden
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along New Lane, East Morden, between 10 New Lane and Harvey Cottage, a distance of approximately 40 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 8th January 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 19th January 2024.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out works to replace a damaged culvert.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections. Temporary Traffic Management Order of A350 Poole Road, Lytchett Matravers
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 09:00 - 16:00 on 22nd January 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31st January 2024. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works. The effect of this Order is as follows:
[i] To impose a temporary road closure on; A350 Poole Road and A350 Blandford Road North as indicated by signs on site.
[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along A350 Poole Road and A350 Blandford Road North.
