Temporary Road Closure – Forest Road, Burley, New Forest
Notice Is Hereby Given that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
Road To Be Closed: that part of Forest Road between its junction with Ringwood Road and continuing 465 metres Northeast along Forest Road.
Alternative Route: Ringwood Road, Chapel Lane, Forest Road
Duration Of Order: from 8th January 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 weeks 4 days between the hours 0730-1700).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
