B1342 Church Street - Temporary Road Closure

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B1342 Church Street Bamburgh from its junction with the B1341 heading in a westerly direction for a length of 163 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st January 2024 until the 1st July 2024 .
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th February 2024 until the 9th February 2024 between 08:00 hours and 16:00 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st July 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1340, C69, C70, U2031, A1, B1342 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council road closure to carry out resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
