C149 TRANWELL WOODS JUNCTION
TO MITFORD JUNCTION MITFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C149 Tranwell Woods Junction To Mitford Junction from its junction with U6026 to its junction with B6524 for a length of 2030 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th January 2024 until the 9th July 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 9th January 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 9th July 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6524, C154, U6029, U6030, U6026 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for coring samples, civils and resurfacing works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
