(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in Wooler in the County of Northumberland:
U1104 Oliver Road from its junction with Ramsey's Lane heading in a westerly direction for a length of 414 metres.
U1104 Oliver Place from its junction with Oliver Road heading in a northerly direction for a length of 60 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st January 2024 until the 1st July 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th March 2024 until the 21st March 2024 between the times of 08:00 hours and 16:00 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st July 2024.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
