(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6344 Cragside To Weldon Junction Longframlington from its point outside of Cragend Farm heading in a westerly direction for a distance of 695 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th January 2024 until the 8th July 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th January 2024 until the 2nd February 2024 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th July 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6344, A697, B6341 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to replace ground anchors. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
