B6345 ACKLINGTON ROAD/WOODBINE STREET AMBLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in Amble in the County of Northumberland.
B6345 Acklington Road from Woodbine Street heading south for a length of 120 metres.
B6345 Woodbine Street for its entire length.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st January 2024 until the 1st July 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 19th February 2024 until the 23rd February 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st July 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A1068, C108, B6345 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for resurfacing works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
