Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U22207 High House Lane, Tardebigge) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U22207 High House Lane from its junction with U22206 London Lane to its junction with U22210 Church Lane.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U22206 London Lane, C2176 Curtis Close, B4184 Alcester Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 14 January 2024.

(B4096 Hewell Lane, Tardebigge) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4096 Hewell Lane from its junction with C2173 Blackwell Road to its junction with U22402 Hollowtree Lane.

Reason: Overhead works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4096 Hewell Lane, B4184 Alcester Road, B4184 Finstall Road, B4184 New Road, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern bypass, A38 Birmingham Road, M42 Junction 1 Lickey End roundabout (National Highways), B4096 Alcester Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 11 January 2024.

(U21202 Bromsgrove Road, Dodford with Grafton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21202 Bromsgrove Road from its most northly junction with U21203 Cockshutt Lane for a distance of 60 metres in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Repair and meter works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21203 Cockshutt Lane, U21204 Snakes Lake Lane, U21202 Bromsgrove Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 17 January 2024.

(U21043 Flavel Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21043 Flavel Road from its junction with U21031 Lyttleton Avenue to its junction with U21044 Humphrey Avenue.

Reason: New Customer Connection by Cadent Gas Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21031 Lyttleton Avenue, U21044 Humphrey Avenue and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24hrs). Commencing: 15 January 2024.

(C2179 Whitford Bridge Road, Stoke Prior) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2179 Whitford Bridge Road from its junction with C2033 Woodgate Road to its junction with U22000 Moorgate Road.

Reason: Replacement overhead electrical cabling by Western Power Distribution.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2033 Woodgate Road, U22000 Moorgate Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 15 January 2024.

(C2084 Berry Lane, Upton Warren) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2084 Berry Lane from its junction with A448 Kidderminster Road to its junction with U40402 Cooksey Green Lane.

Reason: New/replacement water main by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A448 Kidderminster Road, C2018 Clattercut Lane, C2082 Elmbridge Lane C2085 Crown Lane, C2083 Crutch Lane, C2084 Berry Lane, and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 15 January 2024.

(C2145 Sneads Green, Elmley Lovett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2145 Sneads Green from its junction with C2074 Doverdale Lane to its junction with C2146 Sneads Green to Cutnall Green.

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2146 Broad Common, A442 Kidderminster Road, C2074 Doverdale Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 11 January 2024.

(C2002 St Kenelms Road, Romsley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2002 St Kenelms Road from its junction with C2002 Chapel Lane to its junction with C2002 Ivy Lane.

Reason: Utility works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2002 Uffmoor Lane into Dudley, B4551 Bromsgrove Road, C2002 St Kenelms Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 12 January 2024.

(A38 Redditch Road (Layby only), Stoke) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of A38 Redditch Road (Layby only) from its junction with A38 Redditch Road for its entire length.

Reason: Use of layby as compound to facilitate the works by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Not applicable.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 218 days (24hrs). Commencing: 15 January 2024.

(U22014 Walnut Lane, Finstall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U22014 Walnut Lane from its junction with B4184 Finstall Road to its junction with C2176 Dusthouse Lane.

Reason: Replacement water mains by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4184 Finstall Road, C2176 St Godwalds Road, C2176 Dusthouse Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 16 January 2024.

(U21531 Byron Way, Catshill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21531 Byron Way from its junction with U21532 Melton Road to its junction

Reason: Utility works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21530 Blake Road, U21523 Barley Mow Lane, U21532 Melton Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 15 January 2024.

(U21333 Access Road to Stratford Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21333 Access Road to U21333 Stratford Road from its junction with most westerly access to U21333 Stratford Road to its junction with most easterly access to U21333 Stratford Road.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A448 Stratford Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 15 January 2024 and 26 January 2024. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) Worcestershire County Council (District of Wychavon - Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2023 [Prohibition of Waiting on Bourne Close and Harris Close, Droitwich]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Droitwich:-

Bourne Close (East side): From the centre point of its junction with Harris Close for a distance of 6.8 metres in a northerly direction and 23.5 metres in a southerly then south easterly direction;

From the centre point of its junction with Harris Close for a distance of 6.8 metres in a northerly direction and 23.5 metres in a southerly then south easterly direction;

(West side): From its junction with Harris Close for a distance of 4.5 metres in a northerly direction and 28 metres in a south easterly direction. Harris Close (Both sides): From its junction with Bourne Close for a distance of 9 metres in a westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
