TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH AGO 12 (GOTHERINGTON PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of the Public Footpath AGO 12 from its junction with Public Footpath AGO 13 in a generally South
Easterly direction for approximately 100 metres to its junction with Public Footpath AGO 20.
The footpath falls within Gotherington Parish in the Tewkesbury Borough, in the County of Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst building works take place.
The order will come into force on 28th December 2023, and it is anticipated that the footpath will remain closed until 28th June 2024. After this
date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time. For further information please

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily
close part of the U42436 Westfield Road, from its junction with Ermin Street to 20 metres North on Westfield Road, for a total distance of 20 metres.
The reason for the closure is for Severn Trent Water hydrant installation works.
The road is expected to be closed from the 8th January 2024 until 11th January 2024 only or until the works have been completed. For further

(as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 480067 Westgate Street from its junction with Upper Quay Street to its junction with
Berkeley Street for a distance of approximately 90 metres.
The reason for the closure is for footway resurfacing works.
The said road is expected to be closed between 8th January 2024 and 12th January 2024 only or until the said works have been completed.

The reason for the intended closure is to undertake works to replace a defective manhole frame and cover.
The said road is expected to be closed from 09:30hrs until 15:30hrs on the 9th January 2024 only or until the works have been completed.

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict
part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below.
Schedule

The reason for the closures and restrictions is to carry out carriageway resurfacing.
There will be no waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the works.
The roads be closed and restricted during various times on a rolling programme commencing 8th January 2024 where the presence of approved
signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the
closure/restrictions taking effect. This order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is

temporarily close part of the 490122 Service Road to the back of Albert Street and Hungerford Street from outside the property known as no.75
St Paul’s Road to outside the property known as no.77 St Paul’s Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
The reason for the closure is for Severn Trent works to repair a boundary box within the carriageway.
The road is expected to be closed between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 from 17th January 2024 until 19th January 2024 only or until the

SCHEDULE

The reason for the closures is for carriageway patching works.
The said roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme, commencing 8th January 2024, where the presence of approved signage will
indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures
taking effect. The Order may permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required, and it is anticipated all works will be
completed by 31st October 2024.
