(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to suspend the Contra Flow Cycle Lane in Hill Street between its junction with Navigation Street and its junction with Swallow Street.
The temporary Order is required to manage traffic safely during highway occupation for building works.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Wednesday 3rd January 2024 and will remain in force for a period of 30 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
