What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH HERTFORD 12

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Hertford 12, heading west toward junction with North Road, for an approximate distance of 65m.

Alternative Route: no suitable alternative on PRoW network

The purpose of the Order is to enable utilities works to take place.

The section of Footpath Hertford 12 will be closed on or after 11 January 2024 for up to 4 days, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN ST JAMES ROAD, GOFFS OAK AND WAVELL CLOSE, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of St James Road, Goffs Oak from its junction with Burton Lane south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Newgatestreet Road, a distance of approximately 1055m.

An alternative route will be via Burton Lane, B156 Goffs Lane and Newgatestreet Road.

2. that length of Wavell Close, Cheshunt from its junction with Mill Lane north eastwards and north westwards for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via Mill Lane, B176 High Street and Cunningham Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF GOBIONS LANE, STAPLEFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Gobions Lane, Stapleford from a point 170m west of its junction with A119 High Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 115m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Gobions Lane, A119 High Road, Bramfield Lane, Main Road, Winding Shott and Gobions Lane.

The Order is needed because vegetation removal works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF C16 GREAT MUNDEN, GREAT MUNDEN/ C16 NASTY, NASTY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of C16 Great Munden, Great Munden/ C16 Nasty, Nasty from a point in line with the western boundary of No.1 Vale Cottages north eastwards for a distance of approximately 50m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via C16 Great Munden, Mentley Lane West, A10 (Puckeridge Bypass/unnamed road), Hamels Lane, C16 (unnamed road) and C16 Nasty.

The Order is needed because utility services works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COOPERS COPPICE, COTTERED AND SACOMBE POUND, SACOMBE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-

1. that length of Coopers Coppice, Cottered from its junction with B1037 (unnamed road) north eastwards to its junction with A507 Baldock Road, a distance of approximately 153m.

An alternative route will be via B1037 (unnamed road) and A507 Baldock Road.

2. that length of Sacombe Pound, Sacombe from its junction with Munden Road south eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 1509m.

An alternative route will be via Munden Road, Whempstead Lane, Whempstead Road, Whempstead Lane, A602 (Watton at Stone Bypass/Ware Road/Tonwell Bypass) and Sacombe Pound.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MUNDEN ROAD AND EASINGTON ROAD, DANE END) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-

1. that length of Munden Road, Dane End from its junction with Whempstead Lane north eastwards to its junction with Windy Rise, a distance of approximately 379m.

An alternative route will be via Whempstead Lane, Whempstead Road, Town Lane, Church Green, Walkern Road, Benington Road, High Street, B1037 (High Street/White Hill), C14 (unnamed road), Moor Green Road, C14 (unnamed road), Mentley Lane, C16 Great Munden and Munden Road.

2. that length of Easington Road, Dane End from its junction with Munden Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 25m.

An alternative route will be via Munden Road, Church Lane, Founceley Avenue, Kingsfield Road and Easington Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 17 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COLLEGE ROAD, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of College Road, Cheshunt from its junction with A10 Great Cambridge Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 70m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via A10 Great Cambridge Road, Church Lane, B156 Churchgate Road, Churchgate and College Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 17 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF RICKNEYS LANE, HERTFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rickneys Lane, Hertford from its junction with B158 Wadesmill Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 205m (“the Road”), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF C54 (UNNAMED ROAD), EPPING GREEN) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of C54 (unnamed road), Epping Green from its junction with Little Berkhamsted Public Bridleway No.022 north westwards for a distance of approximately 470m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via C54 (unnamed road), White Stubbs Lane, Ashendene Road, Bayford Road, Brickendon Green, Brickendon Lane, B158 (Horns Mill Road/Lower Hatfield Road), Robins Nest Hill, Church Road and C54 (unnamed road).

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 18 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF C16 GREAT MUNDEN, GREAT MUNDEN/ MUNDEN ROAD, DANE END) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of C16 Great Munden, Great Munden/ Munden Road, Dane End from its junction with Mentley Lane West south westwards to its junction with Sacombe Pound, a distance of approximately 3886m (“the length of Roads”).

An alternative route will be via Mentley Lane West, A10 (Puckeridge Bypass/ Wadesmill Road/unnamed road), A602 (Westmill Road/Tonwell Bypass) and Sacombe Pound.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COLLETT ROAD AND HARTFIELD COURT, WARE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-

1. that length of Collett Road, Ware from its junction with Hartfield Court south eastwards for a distance of approximately 10m.

An alternative route will be via Collett Road, The Bourne, A1170 (Baldock Street/ High Street), New Road and Collett Road.

2. that length of Hartfield Court, Ware from its junction with Collett Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 16m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B181 STATION ROAD, STANSTEAD ABBOTTS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B181 Station Road, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with Amwell Lane north eastwards to its junction with Lawrence Avenue, a distance of approximately 119m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via B181 Station Road, A414 (Eastwick Avenue/Fifth Avenue), the A414 Fifth Avenue/A1169 Elizabeth Way roundabout, A414 (Fifth Avenue/Eastwick Road) and B181 (Roydon Road/High Street/Station Road).

The Order is needed because level crossing inspection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 13 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN BAAS LANE, BROXBOURNE AND WHITEFIELDS ROAD, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Baas Lane, Broxbourne from its junction with Bell Lane north eastwards to its junction with Park Lane, a distance of approximately 550m.

An alternative route will be via Bell Lane, A1170 High Road and Park Lane.

2. that length of Whitefields Road, Cheshunt from its junction with Church Lane northwards, westwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with B156 Brookfield Lane West, a distance of approximately 850m.

An alternative route will be via Church Lane and B156 (Flamstead End Road/ Brookfield Lane West).

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Scott Avenue, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with Hillside Lane eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Hillside Lane, New River Avenue, Gilpins Gallop and Scott Avenue.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 2 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of 3U52 (unnamed road), Ardeley from its junction with Blind Lane south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with C14 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 995m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Blind Lane, B1037 (unnamed road/White Hill) and C14 (unnamed road).

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (NORTH ROAD, HERTFORD) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 202*

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new waiting restrictions on parts of North Road, Hertford as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
