Bracknell Forest, Multiple Control of On-Street Parking Orders

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(CONTROL OF ON-STREET PARKING)

(No. 1) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order under Sections 1 (1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

Effects of the Order:

The effects of the Order are to introduce the new restrictions as detailed in Schedule 1;

All of the remaining waiting restrictions, loading/unloading restrictions, stopping restrictions and disabled parking spaces within the Borough of Bracknell Forest will remain unchanged and will be consolidated into this new Order.

The Order was made on the 15th day of December 2023 and will come into operation on the 27th day of December 2023.

Orders to be Consolidated into this Order and revoked:

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Control of On-Street Parking) (No.1) Order 2022 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Disabled Parking Spaces) (Phase 1) Order 2022 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Disabled Parking Spaces) (Phase 1) Order 2023 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Brants Bridge, Broad Lane, Martins Lane, Northampton Close & Sycamore Rise, Bracknell) (Waiting Restrictions) Order 2022 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Market Street, Bracknell) (Waiting Restrictions) Order 2023 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Crowthorne Road North, Bracknell) (Waiting Restrictions) Order

2023 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Unnamed Roads (Winchester House), Bracknell) (Waiting

Restrictions) Order 2023 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Objections:

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the 20th day of December 2023, make application for this purpose to the High Court.

Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time

Merlin Way - Both sides - From a point 15 metres south of its junction with Chiffchaff Comer northwards for a distance of 15 metres.

Chiffchaff Corner - Both sides - From its junction with Merlin Way westwards for a distance of 15 metres.

Service Yard H, Bracknell - West side - From its northern boundary southwards for a distance of 12 metres.

Service Yard H, Bracknell - North side - From its western boundary eastwards for a distance of 2 metres.

No Waiting Mon - Fri 8.15am - 9.15am and 2.45pm - 3.45pm

Cambridge Road - East side - From a point 30 metres north of its junction with Moor Close then northwards for a distance of 20 metres.
