Manywells Crescent, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Telecom Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL MANYWELLS BROW, CULLINGWORTH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Manywells Brow, Cullingworth intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Manywells Brow from its junction at Halifax Road to its junction at Manywells Crescent.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Manywells Brow (unaffected section), Halifax Road, Haworth Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 2nd January 2024 and remain in force until 18:00 on the 22nd January 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
