C419 NORTHUMBRIAN ROAD CRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C419 Northumbrian Road Cramlington from its junction with the Lancastrian Road Roundabout heading east for a distance of 90 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 2nd January 2024 until the 26th January 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 2nd January 2024 until the 16th January 2024 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 26th January 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Northumbrian Road, Village Road, High Pit Road, B1505, A1171, Dudley Lane and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northern Gas Networks for gas mains replacement works in the carriageway.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
