No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads and that no vehicle Is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. The Isle of Wight Council (Carters Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2023 - Carters Road will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic & Temporary No Waiting At Any Time) Order No 5 2023

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 1630 hours until 2000 hours on Friday 08 December 2023, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, 1) no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along the following lengths of road; Dover Street, Park Road, Star Street, High Street, Union Street and Esplanade between its junctions with Union Street and St Thomas Street. 2) No person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to wait along Dover Street on either side for its entire length. The closure and restriction are required for safety during the Ryde Merry and Bright event. The diversion will be signposted locally.
