(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 23, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from a point 75 metres west of B1019 Maldon Road, west for approximately 30 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 20 December 2023 to 21 December 2023 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while UKPN install 3 phase service supply, cable and ducting.
Alternative route via: B1019 Maldon Road, Ulting Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20 December 2023 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Browning Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Chaucer Crescent for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2024 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01462606194 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ironwork installation works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Challis Lane, Masefield Road, Chaucer Crescent and vice versa (with access only into Browning Road).

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 80m south of its junction with Shardloes Lane for a distance of approximately 335m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th January 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008FBA1262TLA01 - Openreach). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Feering Hill, Feering in the, District of Braintree from its junction with Rye Mill Lane to its junction with Station Road a distance of approximately 825m. (Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit), (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.3) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the District of Braintree, as detailed in the Schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in those lengths of roads as detailed in the Schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works are scheduled to commence on 14th December 2023, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.
