ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (HEATH AND REACH, LEIGHTON BUZZARD, BEDFORDSHIRE) (CHECKLEY WOOD ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION) (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) ORDER 2023

National Highways Limited(a) gives notice that it has made an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A5 Trunk Road at Heath and Reach, Leighton Buzzard, in the County of Bedfordshire.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from making a right turn from the unnamed road leading to and from Checkley Wood Electric Vehicle Charging Station onto the southbound carriageway of the A5, at Heath and Reach, Leighton Buzzard.

A copy of the Order, together with a location plan and a statement of National Highways Limited’s reasons for making the Order, may be inspected during opening hours until 22 January 2024 at Leighton Linslade Town Council, The White House, Hockliffe Street, Leighton Buzzard, Beds, LU7 1HD and Town Library, Ground Floor Library Building, Lake Street, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 1RX, or obtained by application to National Highways, Operations Division, Orders Section, Woodlands, Manton Lane, Bedford, MK41 7LW or by e-mailing OpsEastOrders@nationalhighways.co.uk. Information provided in response to this notice, including personal information, may be subject to publication or disclosure in accordance with the access to information regimes (these are primarily the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR)).
