(SIR EVELYN ROAD, ROCHESTER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a decaying telephone pole to be replaced -

Sir Evelyn Road, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 13 Sir Evelyn Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Valley View Road and Maidstone Road.

This Order will come into force on Thursday, 21 December 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Thursday, 21 December 2023 and are programmed for completion within two days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(BEACON ROAD, CHATHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable electricity supply works to be carried out -

Beacon Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 49 Beacon Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Upper Luton Road and Beacon Hill.

This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 17 January 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 17 January 2024 and are programmed for completion within one week. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(MILTON AVENUE, CLIFFE WOODS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new public utility connection to be made -

Milton Avenue, Cliffe Woods - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 2 Milton Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Town Road, Merryboys Road and View Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 18 December 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 18 December 2023 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(HOPEWELL DRIVE, CHATHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to replace a manhole frame and cover in the carriageway -

Hopewell Drive, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 2 Hopewell Drive. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. No alternative route is available. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

This Order will come into force on Thursday, 18 January 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Thursday, 18 January 2024 and are programmed for completion within one night (with works taking place between 8pm and 6am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(HOLMSIDE AND SEATON ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable gas main replacement works to be carried out -

Holmside and Seaton Road - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) in Holmside for the entire length, and (b) in Seaton Road across the junction with Holmside. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Watling Street and Barnsole Road.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 2 January 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 2 January 2024 and are programmed for completion within six weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

LAYBY ADJACENT TO FOUR ELMS HILL, ROCHESTER (A228): PROVISION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS - NOTICE OF PROPOSAL (VARIOUS AREAS) (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Medway Council propose to make the abovementioned Order under sections 1, 2 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions throughout both sides of the layby adjacent to the north-eastbound carriageway of Four Elms Hill, Rochester (A228) that provides vehicle access to Bridge Lodge, Four Elms Hill. 3. Copies of the Order and of other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, may be inspected at Chatham Library, Dock Road, Chatham, Kent, ME4 4TX during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except for bank and public holidays. Alternatively, electronic copies of the documents can be requested by sending an email to TROconsult@medway.gov.uk on the understanding that requests may take up to 5 working days to be processed.
