What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2214 CHURCH ROAD, MARLESFORD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2214 Church Road, Marlesford from 200 metres west of the junction with Hall Road for 30 metres westbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Hall Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 13/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6136 BACK STREET, LAKENHEATH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6136 Back Street, Lakenheath from 115 metres north of the junction with the B1112 for 30 metres northbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Mill Road, the B1112 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 13/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2679 MELBOURNE ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2679 Melbourne Road, Ipswich from no. 14 - no. 17 to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Glenavon Road, Melbourne Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 13/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2662 HENSLOW ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2662 Henslow Road, Ipswich from Freehold Road for 30 metres southbound to facilitate repairs to a sluice valve. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Freehold Road, Kemball Street, Foxhall Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 13/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1066 BURY ROAD, BROCKLEY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1066 Bury Road, Brockley from 15 metres south west of Woodcrofts Close for 30 metres south westbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1066, the A143, the A1302, the A134, the A1092, the B1066 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 10/12/2023 from 8am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4707 COOPER ROAD, GOSBECK

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4707 Cooper Road, Gosbeck from 700 metres south west of the junction with Road from U4707 - U4729 for 790 metres south westbound to facilitate safety for engineers during telegraph pole renewal works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Helmingham Road, Stonewall Hill, Lower Road, High Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 11/12/2023 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C335 THE TERRACE, ALDEBURGH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C335 The Terrace, Aldeburgh from the junction with Hartington Road for 20 metres northbound and 20 metres southbound to facilitate the installation of new electrical and water services. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Beaconsfield Road, Lee Road, Crespigny Road, High Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 15/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1095 HALESWORTH ROAD, REYDON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A1095 Halesworth Road, Reydon from 230 metres west of the junction with The Drive for 85 metres westbound to facilitate water works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A12, the B1127 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 15/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U4124 THACKERAY ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4124 Thackeray Road, Ipswich to facilitate major gas replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. Spenser Road, Goldsmith Road and vice versa

2. Goldsmith Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 20/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH 6, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 6 Bury St Edmunds to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/12/2023 - 10/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLUSURE OF PART OF THE U3218 BLADEN DRIVE, RUSHMERE ST ANDREW

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3218 Bladen Drive, Rushmere St Andrew from no. 14 to Clovelly Close to facilitate the installation of a new electricity supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Bladen Drive, Broadlands Way, Shrubland Drive, Bladen Drive and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 15/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C725 CALAIS STREET, HADLEIGH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C725 Calais Street, Hadleigh from the Business Park to no. 28 to facilitate ducting installation and remedial works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Aldham Mill Hill, the A1071, the B1070, Calais Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 14/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1070 The Street, Raydon from no. 1 to Dunningham Drive to facilitate electrical connection works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1070, the A12, the A1214, the A1071, the B1070 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 15/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C328 Playford Road, Little Bealings from the junction with Butts Road for 1820 metres eastbound to facilitate laying fibre optic cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Martlesham Road, Bealings Road, Main Road, Woodbridge Road, Playford Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 15/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1077 Helmingham Road, Ashbocking from no. 3 Boundary Cottage for 50 metres southbound to facilitate a new electricity connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1078, the B1079 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 to 15/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 47, Charsfield to facilitate safety during the installation of a new electricity cable. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/12/2023 - 22/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
