Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
Alders Road, Capel TN12 6SW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JANUARY 2024
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Alders Road, Tonbridge, on or after 5th January 2024 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with A228 Colts Hill for 1090 metres, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Alders Road, B2017 Five Oak Green Road, A228 Maidstone Road, Colts Hill and vice versa.
Romford Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JANUARY 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Romford Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 2nd January 2024 for up to 2 days between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside Easter Hill to outside The Forresters, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Romford Road, Foxhole Lane, Chestnut Lane, B2016 Maidstone Road, A21 Hastings Road, A21 Pembury Bypass, Henwood Green Road, Woodside Road, Romford Road and vice versa.
