Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
ASHFORD AREA
Charing Heath Road, Charing. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JANUARY 2024
To allow drainage jetting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Charing Heath Road, Charing, on or after 1st January 2024, for up to one day, between the hours of 06.00 and 18.00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the bridge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Egerton Road, Charing Heath Road, Hook Lane, Maidstone Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Cheeseman’s Green Lane, Kingsnorth. TN24 0FN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JANUARY 2024
To allow drainage jetting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Cheesemans Green Lane, Kingsnorth, on or after 7th January 2024, for up to one day, between the hours of 06.00 and 18.00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Blind Lane Bridge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Through traffic travelling Northbound is via South Stour Road, Cheesemans Green Lane, Feather Bed Lane, Chequer Tree Farm Road, Colliers Hill, Coopers Lane, Flood Street, Church Road, Bower Road, The Street, Hythe Road, Stock Lane, A20 A2070 M20 J10a Roundabout, A2070 From M20 J10a Roundabout To A2070 Sevington Roundabout W, Link Road Between Junction 10a M20 To A2070, A2070 From J A2042 To M20 J10 Roundabout N, A2070 From M20 J10 Roundabout To J A2042 S and Bad Munstereifel Road.

Egerton House Road, Egerton. TN27 9BG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Egerton House Road, Egerton, on or after 18th December 2023, for up to 5 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Lark Hill Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Link Hill Lane, Crocken Hill Road, Coldbridge Lane, Egerton House Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
New Barn Road, Hastingleigh. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of New Barn Hill, Hastingleigh, on or after 18th December 2023, for up to 3 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with Pilgrims Way, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via The Street, Wye Road, Coldharbour Lane, Amage Road, Brabourne Road, Pilgrims Way and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Oxenturn Road, Wye. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow renewal works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Oxenturn Road, Wye, on or after 20th December 2023, for up to one day, between the hours of 08.30 and 16.30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with Upper Bridge Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Bridge Street, Church Street, Churchfield Way, Harville Road, Canterbury Road, Willesborough Road, Kennington Road, The Street, Hinxhill Road, Hinxhill Road From Junction With Goodcheap Lane To Nackolt Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
School Road, Appledore. TN26 2AS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JANUARY 2024
To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of School Road, Appledore, on or after 3rd January 2024, for up to 3 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Prospect House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Kenardington Road, Appledore Road, Warehorne Road, D1305 11 Acre Wood Lane Junction With B2067 To D1291 Junction With D1305 11 Acre Wood Lane, Brook Street, Woodchurch Road, Reading Street, Tenterden Road, School Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Tadworth Road, Kennington. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JANUARY 2024
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Tadworth Road, Kennington, on or after 2nd January 2024, for up to 8 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 28, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for this closure, however, residential access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Worten Road, Great Chart. TN23 3BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow maintenance works to be carried, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Worten Road, Great Chart, on or after 18th December 2023, for up to 3 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of North Barn, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Godinton Lane, Water Fall Road, Park Drive, The Street, School Road, Station Road, Maidstone Road, Maidstone Road North Of Drovers Roundabout, Simone Weil Roundabout, Templer Way, Chart Road Roundabout, Chart Road, Great Chart Bypass, Ninn Lane, Worten Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
