CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS HAYES LANE. KENLEY TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate access to the underground structure for de-silting works on behalf of Openreach, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic movements in Hayes Lane, Kenley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Hayes Lane will be closed between its junctions with Park Road and Abbots Lane.
3. The Order will come into operation on 11 December 2023, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 15 December 2023. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
4. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Park Road, Hayes Lane and vice versa.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to a water service pipe they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Ownsted Hill.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place the carriageway and footway of Ownsted Hill will be closed outside Nos. 4 and 6 Ownsted Hill.
3. During the closure, the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be via Walsingham Road, Gascoigne Road, Salcot Crescent, Ownsted Hill and reversed, or via Salcot Crescent, Queen Elizabeth's Drive, Ownsted Hill and reversed. Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 11 December 2023, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said works.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water service pipe works by Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Temple Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place the carriageway and footway of Temple Road will be closed between the common boundary of Nos. 16a and 18 and Nos 17 and 19 Temple Road.
3. During the works the alternative route for diverted vehicular traffic will be via St Peter's Road, Temple Road and reversed. Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 11 December 2023, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within approximately five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle being used to carry out the works.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new connection works on behalf of UK Power Networks, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in West Hill, South Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) West Hill will be closed between its junctions with Upper Selsdon Road and Sandhurst Way/Essenden Road.
(b) Parking in the above section of West Hill will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time".
3. Whilst the restrictions are in operation the alternative route for traffic will be via West Hill, Barnfield Road, Elmfield Way, Upper Selsdon Road/B275 & vice versa, as appropriately sign-posted.
4. The Order will come into operation on 13 December 2023 and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 19 December 2023. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate manhole chamber construction works on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Aurelia Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Aurelia Road between its junction with Lavender Road and the common boundary of Nos. 83 and 85 Aurelia Road.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Lavender Road, Thornton Avenue, Thornton Road, Shamrock Road, and reversed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 08 January 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 25 January 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate electric cable laying works to improve electric vehicle charging facilities at Thornton Heath Bus Garage, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Clarendon Road, Handcraft Road and Parsons Mead, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Clarendon Road, Handcraft Road and Parsons Mead will be closed during the periods shown in the Schedule to this notice.
b) Parking bays in the above roads will be suspended in sections as work progresses.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as detailed below. Residents' access will be maintained.
* Clarendon Road closure.
* Southern end via Pitlake and Derby Road.
* Northern end via Derby Road.
* Cyclists to divert along Derby Road into Pitlake.
* Parsons Mead - via Derby Road, Pitlake, Factory Lane, Mitcham Road, and Sumner Road, or via Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, and Derby Road.
* Handcraft Road (Parsons Mead to Sumner Road section) - via Parsons Mead, Derby Road, Pitlake, Factory Lane, Mitcham Road, and Sumner Road, or via Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, and Derby Road.
* Handcraft Road (Sumner Road to Dennett Road section) - via Sumner Road and London Road, or via Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, and Dennett Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 08 January 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 17 March 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extents as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
