The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No. F47) Order 20-The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. F48) Order 20-

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

The general effect of the Orders would be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 159a Albert Road, South Norwood, No. 45 Ambleside Gardens, South Croydon, No. 6 Annsworthy Avenue, Thornton Heath, No. 42 Apsley Road, South Norwood, No. 38 Deans Walk, Coulsdon, No. 42 Frimley Close, New Addington, No. 90 Harcourt Road, Thornton Heath, No. 108 Long Lane, Croydon, No. 173 Oak Avenue, Shirley, No. 40 Orchard Rise, Croydon, No. 90 Pemdevon Road, Croydon, No. 25 Stroud Green Way, Croydon, No. 180, Sumner Road South, Croydon, No. 6 Upton Road, Thornton Heath, and No. 51 Wentworth Road, Croydon.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

2. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, by appointment with the Parking Design Team, at Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA (telephone 020 8726 6000 and ask for Parking Design). Alternatively all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking. Design@croydon.gov.uk.

3. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design Section, 3rd Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA or by emailing the Parking Design Team (email address above) quoting the reference: PD/CH/F47 & F48 by 28 December 2023.

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting)

and (Free Parking Places) (No. F41) Order 20-The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No. F42) Order 20-

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be:

a) To introduce "at any time" double yellow line waiting restrictions in the lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

b) To update the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders to accurately represent the new arrangements as they exist on site.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made, or the Council decides not to make the Orders, by appointment with the Parking Design Team, at Bernard Wetherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA (telephone 020 8726 6000 and ask for Parking Design). 4. 5. The Order is intended to introduce new or amend existing waiting restrictions at various locations and to introduce parking bays as specified. The waiting restrictions are intended to address all or some of the following situations: improve safety by providing increased visibility, especially at junctions and on bends; prevent obstructive parking so that turning vehicles have sufficient manoeuvrability and improve access for all road users, especially pedestrians, cyclists, emergency, and public service vehicles. The new parking bays are intended to improve parking opportunities for resident permit holders and motorcyclists in the area.

The west side, extending the existing restrictions adjacent to No. 3a Princes

Way southwards by 15.5 metres.

Redbarn Close, Purley

* The north-east side, from its junction with Whytecliffe Road North south-eastwards for 7 metres.

* The south-west side, from its junction with Whytecliffe Road North south-eastwards for 10.5 metres.

Rowdown Crescent, New Addington

* Both sides, from its northernmost junction with King Henry's Drive eastwards for 10 metres.

* Both sides, from its southernmost junction with King Henry's Drive eastwards for 10 metres.

* The bend outside Nos. 11 and 13 (the south and west sides) from the southern end to the western end of the grass verge.

* The bend outside No. 33 (the north and west sides) from a point opposite the southern wall of No. 33 to a point opposite the eastern wall of No. 33.

Selsdon Park Road, South Croydon

The north-west side, extending the existing restrictions at its junction with Farnborough Crescent to finish at a point 5 metres south-west of the junction with Heathfield Vale.

Selsdon Park Road Slip Road, South Croydon (Fronting property Nos. 5 to 57)

* The north-west side, from a point 10 metres south-west of its junction with Heathfield Vale to a point 3 metres north-east of that junction.

* The south-east side, from a point 10 metres south-west of its junction with Heathfield Vale to a point 10 metres north-east of that junction.

Sussex Road, South Croydon

Converting the existing lengths of single yellow line (on the north side, outside No. 1 Sussex Road and adjacent to the flank wall of No. 145 St Peter's Street, and on the south side, adjacent to the rear of Nos. 11 to 25 Sunny Nook Gardens) into double yellow lines in Sussex Road between Selsdon Road and the railway bridge.

Tavistock Grove, Croydon

Converting the existing length of single yellow line on the south-east side outside Nos. 2 and 2a Tavistock Grove into double yellow lines.

The Crossways, Coulsdon

The south-east side, extending the existing restrictions at the junction with Coulsdon Road by 12.3 metres so that they finish at a point opposite the bus stop markings (the same finishing point as the restrictions on the opposite side of the road).

Whytecliffe Road North, Purley

The south-east side, from the common boundary of Nos. 84 and 86 to the common boundary of Nos. 90 and 92 Whytecliffe Road North.

Woodcote Drive, Purley

Both sides, for 10 metres either side of its junction with Peaks Hill / Green Lane (measured northwards from the northern kerb-line of Peaks Hill and southwards from the southern kerb-line of Green Lane).

Woodfield Close, Coulsdon

The entire length, both sides, except for:

' The south-east side, from a point 6 metres south-west of a point opposite the junction with Shenfield Close south-westwards for 11 metres.

* The north-west side, from a point 1 metre south-west of the north-eastern wall of No. 1 Woodfield Close south-westwards for 22 metres.

Woodfield Hill, Coulsdon

Both sides, from a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with Woodfield Close to its junction with Brighton Road.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 CROHAM ROAD. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of pigeon spikes on the railway bridge, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in Croham Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Croham Road will be closed under the railway bridge, between its junction with Muggeridge Close and the eastern boundary of No. 34 Croham Road.

3. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for vehicular traffic during the closure will be via St Peter's Road (B274), Coombe Road (A212), South Park Hill Road, Croham Road and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 13 December 2023, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out overnight for three nights between 10pm and 5am. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

a) any vehicle or person involved in carrying out the said works.

b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
