TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

CROMWELL PLACE Prohibited Right-hand Turn 

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.

ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR CRANE WORKS.

Cromwell Place to have a prohibited right-hand turn onto Cromwell Road.

To be closed nightly from 22.00hrs until 06.00hrs on Monday 18 th December 23 until 06.00hrs on Wednesday 20 th December 2023, with backup dates of Tuesday 2 nd January 2024 until Thursday 4 th January 2024.

Diverted through traffic may use Cromwell Place, Cromwell Road, Queensberry Place, Harrington Road, Cromwell Place, Thurloe Place, Cromwell Road.

Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
