What is happening?

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL (TRAFFIC REGULATION) (NO.**) ORDER 202* (WAITING LOADING AND PARKING) KEIGHLEY TOWN CENTRE - TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 introducing various parking restrictions on the lengths of road set out below:-

i. Proposed no waiting at any time restrictions and no loading Monday - Saturday Midday-6pm along North Street (between Cavendish Street and High Street)

ii. Proposed limited waiting parking loading bay (Monday - Saturday 30 minutes, no return in 1 hour) on Bow Street

iii. Proposed removal of a (short-term) disabled parking bay to be replaced with a taxi stand on Bow Street

iv. Proposed removal of 2 taxi stands to be replaced with disabled parking bays on Cooke Street

A copy of the draft Order together with maps showing the affected roads and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY and Keighley Town Hall or examined on the council web site at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order or obtained from Traffic Engineer, Andrew Solomon, Planning, Transportation & Highways, Stockbridge Depot, Keighley by telephone on 01535 618172 or by email andy.solomon@bradford.gov.uk Quoting reference number PTH/ HDC/104971/WO/SS.

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing either by post to the address below or by e-mail to legalobjections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12 noon on 5th January 2024 quoting reference:- CORP/PCD/JLF/415411.
