Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, and Parts IV and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order:
1. To Revoke and Implement Restrictions
Road:
Hodings Road
WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 44.6 metres north of its western junction with Fourth Avenue, northwards for approximately 12.6 metres.
To Revoke:
Resident Permit Holders Only W 8am-9pm
To Implement:
No Waiting at Any Time
2. To Revoke: 'No Waiting at Any Time' Restrictions.
Road:
Hodings Road (eastern junction with Fourth Avenue)
Description:
BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 31.4 metres southeast of the southwestern kerb line of Bramble Rise, south-eastwards for approximately 47.5 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into 'The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019' by substituting map tiles: TL435 097 Revision 0 to Revision 1, and TL440 102 Revision 1 to Revision 2.
Notice is also hereby given under S90(C) of the Highways Act 1980 that Essex County Council proposes to construct a Raised Table on Hodings Road, Harlow: from a point approximately 27 metres north of the western junction with Fourth Avenue, north for approximately 18 metres, including ramps. Tabletop flat length of 15 metres.
The maximum height of the raised table is 75 millimetres, and is carriageway width, with a gradient of no greater than approximately 1:20 over a distance of 1.5 metres.
Notice is also hereby given that under Section 23 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), Essex County Council proposes to establish a 'Parallel Crossing' on Hodings Road (eastern junction with Fourth Avenue).
The centreline of the crossing is approximately 56.5 metres southeast of the junction with Bramble Rise.
The width between give way lines is approximately 12 metres.
Zigzag length to the northwest of the crossing is 17.7 metres.
Zigzag length to the southeast of the crossing is 17.4 metres.

(Church Lane, Sheering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Sheering in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 235m south east of its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 55m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th January 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06053722/AP - Affinity Water). The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

The Order will come into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Clays Lane, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Clays Lane, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from both of its junctions with Goldings Hill for a distance of approximately 25m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th January 2024 for 42 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MU047PM-ZHGHBB01-CLL-001 - Thames Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter installation works are undertaken by Thames Water.
An alternative route is available via Clays Lane, Englands Lane, Lower Road, Goldings Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Crows Road, Epping) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crows Road, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Oak Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th January 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06052299/AP - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Drapers Corner, Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Drapers Corner, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 190m north then north east of its junction with Toot Hill Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th January 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410216578 - Affinity Water). (Epping Road, Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Epping Road, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Four Wantz Roundabout for a distance of approximately 885m in a westerly then northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2024 for 2 nights (21:00-04:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2339137 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

The Order will come into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Harlow Road/Church Lane & Matching Tye Road, Matching) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Harlow Road/Church Lane, Matching in the District of Epping Forest, from the junction of Collins Cross Road to the junction of Matching Tye Road a distance of approximately 600m.
2. To temporarily close that length of Matching Tye Road, Matching in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Harlow Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 8th January 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2345011 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Ivy Chimneys, Epping) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ivy Chimneys, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 185m west of its junction with Centre Drive for a distance of approximately 60m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd January 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WF4VL49Z - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new joint box and ducting works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Kendal Avenue, Epping) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kendal Avenue, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Hartland Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th January 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2355462A -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pedestrian refuge works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Station Road, Hartland Road and vice versa (with access only into Kendal Avenue).
The Order will come into effect on 14th December 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Lower Road, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Road, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 140m north of its junction with Englands Lane to its junction with Goldings Hill a distance of approximately 15m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th December 2023 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WDLH2N0N - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Mott Street, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mott Street, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 200m south east of its junction with Sewardstone Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th January 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30057474977 - UK Power Networks). (Nine Ashes Road & Woolmongers Lane, High Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Nine Ashes Road, High Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 550m north east then north west of its most southerly junction with Woolmongers Lane for a distance of approximately 130m in a north westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Woolmongers Lane, High Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Nine Ashes Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 4th January 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008FAA8677IA - BC008FAA8677IB - Openreach). (Old Shire Lane, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Old Shire Lane, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from both of its junctions with Honey Lane Roundabout to its junction with Stoney Bridge Drive a distance of approximately 300m.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2024 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2341880 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new road layout works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Roding Lane, Chigwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Roding Lane, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with High Road to its junction with Chigwell Rise a distance of approximately 1265m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd January 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2356659 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage replacement and ironworks are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Spains Hall Road, Willingale) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spains Hall Road, Willingale in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 50m south east of its junction with The Street for distance of approximately 45m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th January 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30046677505 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
