Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U54030 Bramley Avenue, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U54030 Bramley Avenue from its junction with U54029 Lambourne Crescent to its junction with U54021 Monarch Drive.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U54029 Lambourne Crescent, U54021 Monarch Drive and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days. Commencing: 3 January 2024.

(C2208 Post Office Lane, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of C2208 Post Office Lane from its junction with A38 Main Road to its junction with

U60030 Ellsdon.

Reason: Replacement of tactile blocks by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Main Road, U60034 Napleton Lane, U60032 Oakfield Drive, C2208 Post Office Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 11 December 2023

(U54278 Bloomfield Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of U54278 Bloomfield Road from its junction with U54279 Catherine Road to its junction with U54268 Hanbury Park Avenue.

Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U54268 Hanbury Park Avenue, U54268 Swinton Lane, U54279 Catherine Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 11 December 2023.

(U62034 King Charles Avenue, Powick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U62034 King Charles Avenue from its junction with U62035 Prince Rupert Avenue for a distance of 70 metres in a north easterly direction.

Reason: Safe working for overhead cabling works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U62034 King Charles Avenue, U62022 Hospital Lane, U62038 Cromwell Road, U62038 Essex Close, U62041 Fleetwood Avenue, U62035 Prince Rupert Avenue and vice versa.

(U64609 Witton Hill, Martley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U64609 Witton Hill from its junction with C2243 Wichenford for a distance of 100 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Safe working to access a BT pole by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2243 Wichenford, C2243 Horne Lane, U64609 Prickley Green, U64609 Witton Hill and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 2 January 2024.

(U43207 Kington Lane, Kington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U43207 Kington Lane from its junction with A422 Alcester Road to its junction with U43208 Kington Lane.

Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A422 Alcester Road, C2010 New Road, C2010 Radford Road, U43207 Kington Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 2 January 2024.

(U42409 Froxmere Road, Crowle) (Temporary Closure)

Proposed Order: To close that part of U42409 Froxmere Road from its junction with U42410 Lower Crowle Road to its junction with U42411 Geneva Crescent.

Reason: New development site works by A G Redman

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U42409 Froxmere Road, C2078 Church Road, C2032 Old Turnpike Road, U42410 Lower Crowle Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. 11 days (24hrs). Commencing: 2 January 2024.

(U50342 Seymour Avenue, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50342 Seymour Avenue from its junction with U50319 Northwick Road to its junction with U50339 Southall Avenue.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50339 Southall Avenue, A449 Ombersley Road, U50345 Pinkett Street, U50319

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days between 3 January 2024 and 16 January 2024.

(U54252 Alexander Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of U54252 Alexander Road from its junction with U54253 Withers Road for a distance 98 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U54253 Withers Road, U54253 Homefield Road, U54252 Ellis Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days between the dates of 11 December 2023 and

20 December 2023.

(C2024 Stockton, Stockton on Teme) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2024 Stockton from its junction with A443 Stockton to its junction with

U95612 Worles Common.

Reason: Replacement water mains by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A443 Stockton, A443 Elms Green, A443 Stockton Road, C2230 The Common, B4202 Clows Top Road, B4202 Pensax, C2024 Pensax and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 3 January 2024.

(U47607 Church Lane, Whittington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of U47607 Church Lane from its junction with U47608 School Walk to its junction

with U47606 Walkers Lane.

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Clockwise Diversion - U47607 Church Lane, A4440 Whittington Road to Crookbarrow Way roundabout, A4440 Whittington Road, A4440 Swinesherd Way, A4440 County Hall roundabout, A4440 Swinesherd Way, U47606 Walkers Lane.

Anti-Clockwise Diversion -U47606 Walkers Lane, A4440 Swinesherd Way, A4440 Whittington Road, U47607 Church Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 13 December 2023.

(A422 Worcester Road, Upton Snodsbury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of A422 Worcester Road from its junction with B4082 Pershore Road to its junction with C2115 Peopleton Lane.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by M & J Evans Contruction.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A422 Alcester Road, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Evesham Road (Egdon to Stonebow Road), A44 Worcester Road, A44 Wyre Piddle Bypass, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Chadbury Bypass, A46 Norton Lenchwick Bypass, (into Warwickshire), A422 Alcester Road, A422 Worcester Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

(U54262 Pitmaston Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U54262 Pitmaston Road from its junction with U54261 Bedwardine Road to its junction with U54263 Skinner Road.

Reason: Installation of dropped kerb by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U54263 Skinner Road, U54263 School Road, B4485 Swinton Lane/Branford Lane, B4206 Bransford Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days between 2 January 2024 and 12 January 2024.

(C2070 Suckley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2070 Suckley from its junction with C2064 Malvern Hills boundary to Longley Green, to its junction with C2244 Suckley.

Reason: Lay new ducting by GL Telecoms.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2064 Malvern Hills boundary to Longley Green, C2064 Longley Green, C2064 Longley Green to Stocks Lane, C2064 Alfrick Pound, C2233 Alfrick, C2244 Workhouse Bank, C2244 Crews Hill, C2244 Suckley

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 3 January 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2023 [Various Waiting Restrictions (Proposals and Revocation) on A38 Droitwich Road, John Comyn Drive and Hindlip Lane, Worcester]

On 23 November 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:-

A38 Droitwich Road (Northwest side): From a point 283 metres southwest of its junction with Claines Lane for a distance of 40 metres in a south westerly direction.

Hindlip Lane (Northeast side): From its junction with A38 Droitwich Road for a distance of 94 metres in a south easterly direction;

(Southwest side): From its junction with A38 Droitwich Road for a distance of 111 metres in a south easterly direction, to also include to the extent of the public highway of the entrance into Ravenmeadow Golf Club.

Prohibit Waiting/ No Loading/Unloading at Any Time John Comyn Drive (Both sides): From its junction with A38 Droitwich Road for a distance of 58 metres in a south easterly direction; (Southwest side): from a point 97 metres southeast of its junction with A38 Droitwich Road to the extent of the public highway.

Restriction of Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-6pm John Comyn Drive (Northeast side): From a point 58 metres southeast of its junction with A38 Droitwich Road for a distance of 57 metres in a south easterly direction; (Southwest side): from a point 58 metres southeast of its junction with A38 Droitwich Road for a distance of 39 metres in a south easterly direction.

Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time John Comyn Drive (Both sides): For the full extent of the public highway.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 14 December 2023. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

Worcestershire County Council (District of Wychavon - Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2023 [Prohibition of Waiting on Seaford Lane and Orchard Lea, Naunton Beauchamp]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in

Naunton Beauchamp:-

Seaford Lane (West side): From its junction with C2225 for a distance of 30 metres in a south easterly direction. (East side): From its junction with C2225 for a distance of 26 metres in a south westerly direction

Central triangle: The entire perimeter, a distance of 43 metres

Orchard Lea (Both sides): From its junction with Seaford Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles. (B4204 Martley Road, Lower Broadheath) (Temporary 40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2023

Proposed order: To impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit on that part of B4204 Martley Road from its junction with Heronswood Close (Private) to its junction with B4204 Martley Road to Middle Temple Laugherne Cottages.

Reason: Road construction for new development by Bloor Homes.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 547 days. Commencing: 3 January 2024.
