PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath KT-633, Knighton on Teme) (Temporary Closure Order) 2016
The Council have made an Order the effect of which is to close Footpath KT-633, Knighton on Teme from its junction with Footpaths KT-631, 632, 629, 635 Knighton on Teme to the County Boundary with Shropshire.
The Order has been made due to a collapsed aqueduct.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access: and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
No alternative route available.
The Order which was due to expire on 12 December 2023 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 12 December 2026 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary
Maximum duration: 36 Months. Anticipated duration: 36 Months. Commencing: 12 December 2023.
