(LEEDS ROAD, CUTSYKE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 278) 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow level crossing and barrier upgrade works be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Leeds Road, Cutyske. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Leeds Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Leeds Road, Aketon Road, Cutsyke Road, Bruce Smeaton Way, Leeds Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 8th December 2023 at 23.00 hours to 27th December 2023 at 07.00 hours or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(SKINNER LANE, PONTEFRACT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 279) 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow level crossing and barrier upgrade works be carried out as follows: ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Skinner Lane, Pontefract. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Skinner Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Skinner Lane, De Lacy Way, Park Road, Stuart Road, Headlands Lane, Skinner Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 8th December 2023 at 23.00 hours to 27th December 2023 at 07.00 hours or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(BARNSLEY ROAD, SOUTH KIRKBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 283) 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for tree trimming/felling to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Barnsley Road, South Kirkby for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Barnsley Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Barnsley Road,

White Apron Street, Hague Lane,

Hemsworth Road, Hemsworth Bypass,

Sprockhoeval Way, Hemsworth A1 Link Road,

Minsthorpe Lane, Mill Lane, High Street,

Doncaster Road, Barnsley Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 10th December 2023 09.00 hours to 17.00 hours or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(B6474 GREAT NORTH ROAD,

WENTBRIDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 285) 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for removal of trees causing danger to be carried out as follows: ROAD TO BE CLOSED: B6474 Great North Road, Wentbridge. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of B6474 Great North Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 12th December 2023 at 08.00 hours to 14th December 2023 at 17.00 hours or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(WAKEFIELD ROAD, FITZWILLIAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 287) 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for gas mains replacement to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Wakefield Road,

Fitzwilliam on the railway bridge between Newstead Drive and Railway Terrace. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads

at their junctions the closed length of Wakefield Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Wakefield Road,

Hemsworth Lane, Offley Lane, Doncaster Road,

Wakefield Road, Barnsley Road, Pontefract Road, Station Road, Cross Hill, Wakefield Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 27th December 2023 to 30th December 2023 or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
