Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Oxford, New Marston, Jack Straws Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 18/12/2023 Coming into force: 02/01/2024
This Order is being introduced because of water mains renewal works which are anticipated to be completed 23 February 2024. This will operate between 07:30hrs and 18:00hrs (Weekdays) & 08:00hrs to 15:00hrs (Saturday). The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Jack Straws Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Marston Road, Headley Way and Headington Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T12826/AC)

Oxford, John Garne Way Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 04/12/2023 Coming into force: 11/12/2023
This Order is being introduced because of excavations for water supply works along John Garne Way works which are anticipated to be completed 15 January 2024. This will operate between 07:00hrs and 17:00hrs. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in John Garne Way. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed
