What is happening?

PROPOSED INTRODUCTION/AMENDMENT/REMOVAL OF WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS - VARIOUS LOCATIONS - MINOR WORKS BATCH NO.6

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 35, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of the Orders would be:

To make the following changes to the locations listed below:

Location Description
Carlingford Road N151. To convert the Shared Use bay on the north side opposite No.4 to Pay by Phone Only.

2. To convert the Shared Use bays on the south side outside No.2 to No.18 and on the north side outside No.21 to Resident Permit Holders Only.

3. To convert the Shared use bay on the north side outside No.17/19 to Resident Permit Holders Only and extend it by 9 metres westwards to outside No.13 replacing a section of Single Yellow Line.

Clovelly Road N8To install Double Yellow Lines:

1. On Both sides of Clovelly Road N8, from its junction with Linzee Road, west for 10 metres.

2. On the west side of Linzee Road, outside No.43 for 10 metres.

3. On the west side of Linzee Road, outside No.41 for 10 metres.

Myddleton Road N22To install a 2.5 metre buggy parking shelter outside No.128/126 (Woodentots nursery). Adjacent Double Yellow Lines for 1.25 metres will be installed at each side.
Rathcoole Avenue N8To remove 3 metres of Permit Holders Only parking to install a cycle storage parking facility (bikehangar) adjacent to the flank wall/rear of No.39 Tottenham Lane.
Uplands Road N8To remove the Single Yellow Line on each side of the carriageway outside and opposite No.2a by joining up the existing sections of Resident Permit Holders Only parking.
White Hart Lane N17To install Double Kerb Markings (No Loading at Any Time) on the existing Double Yellow Line restrictions between the junction with High Road and Chapel Place N17.
Wightman Road N8To install Double Kerb Markings (No Loading at Any Time) on the existing Double Yellow Line restriction on the west side of the carriageway between No.231 and No.245.
Wycombe Road N171. To install 3x 'nose in' Permit Holders Only parking bays across the width of the northern end of Wycombe Road.

2. To replace the existing Permit Holders Only parking by installing Double Yellow Lines:

i. On the west side of the carriageway outside No.1/ the rear of No.88 Lansdowne Road, for 15.6 metres.

ii. On the east side of the carriageway outside No.2/ access road to Banbury Lodge, for 11.1 metres.

A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council's statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online consultation portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey. Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send grounds for their objection via the online portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey or alternatively email traffic. orders@haringey.gov.uk or write to Traffic Management Group, Alexandra House, 4th floor, 225, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR quoting refence 2023-T62, by 3rd January 2023.
