Croxton Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Croxton Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading) (No.325) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 7th December 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING
CROXTON ROAD
From its junction with Bellevue Terrace to its junction with Victoria Avenue.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate tankering works to prevent sewage pollution.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 7th December 2023 to 29th February 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Victoria Avenue, Bellevue Terrace.
Pedestrian and cycle access will be diverted around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
