What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HILLINGDON
THE HILLINGDON (WAITING & LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. 9) ORDER 2023
THE HILLINGDON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) TRAFFIC ORDER 2022 (AMENDMENT NO. 15) ORDER 2023

Hillingdon Council gives notice that on 1st December 2023 it made the above Orders to:
1. Install ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in sections of roads as set out in the Schedule to this notice below.
2. Remove the redundant disabled parking bay outside No. 2 Dellfield Crescent, Cowley and revert to a Zone C1 permit holder parking place.
3. Convert a section of the existing ‘Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm waiting restrictions on the south side of Windsor Close, Northwood Hills, between the existing double yellow lines near the junction with Joel Street to outside Nos. 1 & 2 Windsor Close.
Copies of the Orders which will come into operation on 11th December 2023 can be seen by appointment at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge during normal office hours, for six weeks following the date on which this notice is published. Copies of the Orders can be obtained from the Transport & Projects team, by email parkingmanagementschemes@hillingdon.gov.uk. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which these Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE – INSTALLATION OF ‘AT ANY TIME’ WAITING RESTRICTIONS
KEATS WAY, WEST DRAYTON – At both of the junctions with Coleridge Way.
COLERIDGE WAY, WEST DRYATON – At both of the junctions with Keats Way.
MYRTLE CLOSE, WEST DRAYTON – At the junction adjacent to Nos. 4 and 3 Myrtle Close.
SIPSON ROAD, SIPSON – Northwest of the junction with Holloway Lane for a distance of 58 metres.

EAST AVENUE, HAYES 
i) West side, between No. 57 East Avenue and the junction with Townfield Road.
ii) East side, opposite No. 57 East Avenue and the junction with East Way.
HORTON CLOSE, YIEWSLEY – On the southwest side of the junction with Horton Road, extending to the edge of the parking area.
COWLEY MILL ROAD, UXBRIDGE – Along both sides of the road between the junction with St John’s Road and a point southeast of the car park next to Grand Junction Place, converting any existing waiting restrictions.
ST JOHN’S ROAD, UXBRIDGE – Along both sides of the road between a point west of No. 45 St John’s Road and the Borough Boundary with Buckinghamshire Council, converting any existing waiting restrictions.
