Bradshaw Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?

(BRADSHAW LANE, GREENHALGH WITH THISTLETON, FYLDE BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this Order.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over that length of Bradshaw Lane, Greenhalgh with Thistleton from outside the property "Tree Tops" for approximately 20 metres in a south-westerly direction.
2. Nothing in this Order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative daily from 0830 hours to 1500 hours on Tuesday 19th December 2023 until Wednesday 20th December 2023 or until completion of the works within this period. Access will be maintained whenever and wherever possible.
4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:
A585 Fleetwood Road – Back Lane
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow telegraph pole recovery and maintenance works to be carried out on behalf of BT Openreach.
