Ashford, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

ASHFORD AREA

ASHFORD ROAD, HAMSTREET. TN26 2EA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023

To allow maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Ashford Road, Hamstreet, from 23.00 hours on 15th December 2023, with estimated completion by 05.00 hours on 16th December 2023, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of the bridge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via A2070 Hamstreet Bypass, Marsh Road, The Street and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

BLACKWALL ROAD, WYE. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023

To allow maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Blackwall Road, Wye, on or after 11th December 2023, with estimated completion by 15th December 2023, between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via the Road From Naccolt Road To Blackwall Road, Naccolt Road, Hinxhill Road, The Street, Kennington Road, Blackwall Road South and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

CHAMBERS GREEN ROAD, PLUCKLEY. TN27 0RJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023

To allow overhead works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Chambers Green Road, Pluckley, on or after 12th December 2023, for up to one day, between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Smarden Road, Forge Hill, The Street, Station Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

LINK HILL LANE, EGERTON. TN27 9BG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023

To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Link Hill Lane, Egerton, on or after 11th December 2023, for up to 3 days, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with Egerton House Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Link Hill Lane, Crocken Hill Road, Coldbridge Lane, Egerton House Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

OLANTIGH ROAD, WYE & OLANTIGH ROAD, CRUNDALE. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023

To allow maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Olantigh Road, Wye & Olantigh Road, Crundale, on or after 16th December 2023, with estimated completion by 19th December 2023, between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with Sole Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is:-

Diversion - The Street, Canterbury Road, Bramble Lane, Churchfield Way and High Street.

Diversion 1 - Upper Bridge Street, Bridge Street, Bramble Lane, Canterbury Road and The Street.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

OX LANE, TENTERDEN. TN30 6DB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023

To allow installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Ox Lane, Tenterden, on or after 13th December 2023, for up to 3 days, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 36 Springfield Avenue, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Ox Lane, Ashford Road, Swain Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

PLURENDEN ROAD, WOODCHURCH. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023

To allow reinstatement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Plurenden Road, Woodchurch, on or after 11th December 2023, for up to 3 days, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Mayshaves House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Plurenden Road, Shadoxhurst Road, Spot House Lane, Place Lane, Lower Road, Front Road, Back Lane, Bethersden Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

RIVERHALL LANE (COT LANE), BIDDENDEN. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023

To allow installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of River Hall Lane (Cot Lane), Biddenden, on or after 12th December 2023, for up to 3 days, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 2, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Pook Lane, Smarden Road, Headcorn Road, Cot Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

SHADOXHURST ROAD, WOODCHURCH. TN26 3QP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023

To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Shadoxhurst Road, Woodchurch, on or after 15th December 2023, for up to one day, between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with Bethersden Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Bethersden Road, Plurenden Road, Shadoxhurst Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

THE STREET, BRABOURNE. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023

To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of The Street, Brabourne, on or after 11th December 2023, for up to 1 day, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with Pilgrims Way, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way, Stock Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
