(Chapel Street, Steeple Bumpstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Street, Steeple Bumpstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Long Meadow for a distance of approximately 15m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th December 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03162887457 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while communication pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via North Street, Water Lane, Hempstead Road, Bumpstead Road, High Street, Hill Road, Hempstead Road, Sampford Road, Walden Road, Moor End Road, High Street, Finchingfield Road, Hawkins Hill, Sampford Road, Brent Hall Road, The Green and vice versa (with access only into Haverhill Road, Chapel Street, Finchingfield Road, Cornish Hall End, Little London Hill, Howe Street, Duck End and The Causeway). The Order came into effect on 23rd November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Water Lane, Steeple Bumpstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Water Lane, Steeple Bumpstead in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 70m south west of its junction with Helions Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th December 2023 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (ZP007N9009916 – 1KSG-EUL – Gas Transportation Company). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by Gas Transportation Company. An alternative route is available via Water Lane, North Street, Haverhill Road, Chapel Street, Finchingfield Road, Cornish Hall End, Little London Hill, Howe Street, Duck End, The Causeway, The Green, Brent Hall Road, Sampford Road, Finchingfield Road, High Street, Moor End Road, Anso Road, High Street, Bumpstead Road, Hempstead Road, Water Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 24th November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
