SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C711 BULL LANE, LONG MELFORD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C711 Bull Lane, Long Melford from the junction with the B1064 to the junction with Cornell Road to facilitate excavating and installing ducts. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be the B1064, the A134, Bull Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from:

• 02/12/2023 - 03/12/2023 from 8am - 6pm

• 09/12/2023 - 10/12/2023 from 8am - 6pm.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1061 THE STREET, GREAT THURLOW

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1061 The Street, Great Thurlow from the junction with Bury Road for 60 metres northbound to facilitate a new water supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be the B1061, the A1304, the B1063, the A143, the B1061 and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 6.30pm on 13/12/2023 until 7am on 14/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C676 STANSFIELD ROAD, POSLINGFORD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C676 Stansfield Road, Poslingford from outside Flax Farms for 300 metres southbound to facilitate replacing electricity poles. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be the B1063, the A143, Wickham Street Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/12/2023 -14/12/2023 from 9.30am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1026 TURRET LANE, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1026 Turret Lane, Ipswich from no. 24 for 40 metres southbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes will be:

1. Lower Brook Street, Star Lane, Lower Orwell Street, Key Street, College Street, Star Lane and no vice versa

2. Star Lane, LowerBrook Street and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/12/2023 -15/12/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C727 ROAD FROM THE 8500 TO THE C727, LAYHAM

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C727 Road from the 8500 to the C727, Layham from Overbury Hall Road to Shelley Road to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Layham Road, Layham, Layham Road, Hadleigh, Duke Street, the B1070, Higham Road, Lower Raydon, the road from the C727 to the C473, Stoke Road, Shelley, Stoke Road, Layham and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/12/2023 -15712/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C370 HOWLETT WAY, TRIMLEY ST MARTIN

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C370 Howlett Way, Trimley St Martin from High Road roundabout for 420 metres eastbound to facilitate installing a hydrant in verge. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be High Road, High Street, High Road West, the A154, the A14 and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/12/2023 -15712/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
