Various Roads - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER/S PUBLIC NOTICES OF INTENTION
NOTICE is hereby given that Shropshire Council (“the Council”) intend, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order/s under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (as amended), the effect of which is to restrict the use of road/s as stated below. The Order/s for restriction is/are required for the purpose/s as stated below. There are exceptions in the Order/s to permit pedestrian access (and/or vehicular access at the discretion of the Council or Statutory Undertaker) to any land or premises having a frontage to the said highway affected where there is no other form of access, and to any access allowing the necessary works to be undertaken. Access will be maintained for cyclists, pedestrians and dismounted horse riders unless stated below. The alternative route/s for those affected by the proposal/s is/are as stated below. It is intended that the proposed restriction/s will come into force on the 11th December 2023 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months (unless extended upon the direction of the Secretary of State) or until any said works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is expected the Order will only be operative for the duration as stated in below
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Astley Lane, near Hadnall Date & Duration: 15th December 2023 for 1 day between 09:30 to 14:30 Purpose: Road Closure - Pole replacement Alternative Route : A49, A53, Astley Lane 
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Belle Vue Gardens, Shrewsbury Date & Duration: 11th December 2023 for 2 days Purpose: Road Closure - Severn Trent Water, Long comm pipe Install. Alternative Route : Longden road, Longden Coleham, Moreton Crescent, Belle Vue Road
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road between Edgerley and Kinnerley  Date & Duration: 11th December 2023 for 3 days Purpose: Road Closure - Short Comm Pipe Repair 25mm Alternative Route : Unnamed road South East towards Pentre, Unnamed road North East, The Old A5, B4396, Unnamed road South West, Mountside 
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Chapel Lane, Dudleston Heath Date & Duration: 14th December 2023 for 2 days Purpose: Road Closure - Bbox Install 25mm and Meter. Alternative Route : B5068, Chapel Lane 
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Julian Road, Ludlow Date & Duration: 11th December 2023 for 4 days Purpose: Road Closure-Severn Trent Water-Long Comm pipe Renew 25mm Alternative Route : Sandpits Road, Livesey Road, St Julians Avenue, Gravel Hill

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using A41 Tern hill Date & Duration: 11th December 2023 for 3 days between 09:30 to 16:00 Purpose: Pre-dressing Patching Works - approximately 118m2. Works also to include gully lifting and siding out. Alternative Route : A41, A525, A53 
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Shrewsbury road, Dunns Heath Date & Duration: 12th December 2023 for 3 days between 08:00 to 17:00 Purpose: Pre-dressing Patching Works Alternative Route : Huffley Lane, Unnamed road West, B5067 
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road at Edgerley near Gobowen Date & Duration: 14th December 2023 for 7 days Purpose: Drainage Works to include installing new gully, repair broken pipe and connect to existing system Alternative Route: Unnamed road South East towards Pentre, Unnamed road North East, Unnamed road North West, Unnamed road South West through Kynaston

Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Caynton Road, Beckbury Date & Duration: 17th December 2023 for 1 day between 09:30 to 15:30Purpose: Road closure-Openreach-Access required to overhead BT structure to provide service Alternative Route : Madeley Road, B4379, Havenhills road, Caynton Road
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed Road between B4368 & Westhope Date & Duration: 13th December 2023 for 3 days between 09:30 to 15:30 Purpose: Road Closure-Openreach-road closure required to provide safe working zone for access to underground network to complete cabling. Alternative Route : Unnamed road North via Harton and Ticklerton, Unnamed road West via Hatton, A49, B4368
