What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(30 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023 (3376)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Bathley in the District of Newark and Sherwood in the County of Nottinghamshire.
1. The length of road specified in the Schedule of this Order shall have a speed limit of 30 mph MAIN STREET, BATHLEY - From a point 10 metres north-east of the north-eastern boundary line of Barley Cottage in a north easterly direction for 123 metres.

The proposed 30 mph Speed Limit replaces the existing National Speed Limit (60mph) and ensures the safety of residents maintaining their boundaries.
