Greenhill Road - Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic to Facilitate MCC Patching

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order:
ORDER NO. MCC136566972: The City of Manchester (Greenhill Road, Crumpsall Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2023 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Greenhill Road from Crescent Road to Woodlands Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: 1) Crescent Road, Hazelbottom Road, Woodlands Road, and Vice Versa, 2) Woodlands Road, Woodlands Street, Humphey Street, Crecent Road and Vice Versa.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate MCC Patching. It is expected that the works will be in progress on 14th December 2023.
The order shall come into operation on 14th December 2023 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
