Appletree Lane, Temporary Road Closure Water Works
What is happening?
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) U8187 APPLETREE LANE, CORBRIDGE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8187 Appletree Lane in Corbridge from 64 metres east of its junction with the B6321 continuing east for a length of 15 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 18th December 2023 until the 29th December 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th December 2023 until the 22nd December 2023 but the road is expected to be closed at all times during this period. The Order will remain in place until the 29th December 2023.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6321, Greencroft Avenue and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian water for a new water connection. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
