What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ORDER
TEMPORARY BYWAY OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC (BOAT) CLOSURE
PUBLIC BOAT, NO.31 EYAM

WHEN: 15th December 2023 to 14th June 2024.
WHERE: Close BOAT No. 31 Eyam Parish, from the Northern start point of the BOAT to Little Ladywash House.
REASON: To facilitate public safety due to damage caused by Storm Babet.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: No alternative route recommended.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of public right of way. The public right of way will re-open as soon as the work is finished.
This may be earlier than advertised. Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
