What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
VIA GELLIA ROAD, A5012 CROMFORD TO GRANGEMILL
WHEN: 4th December 2023 to 8th December 2023 (between 09:00 to 15:00 each day)
WHERE: Rolling Road Closure: Via Gellia Road A5012, Cromford for a distance of 6 kilometres between Water Lane, Cromford and Grangemill.
REASON: To facilitate gully cleaning.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: HGV Diversion Route: A5012, A515, A5270, A6, A5012 and vice versa. Alternative Route: B5056, A6.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
