ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (CHURCH WAY, NORTHAMPTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Church Way, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Church Way, Northampton from outside Paddock Cottage.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a new water connection.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th January 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Church Way, Bridgewater Drive, Abington Park Crescent and Weston Way.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (OLIVER STREET, NORTHAMPTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Oliver Street, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Oliver Street, Northampton from outside number 68.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repair works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th January 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (WEEDON ROAD, UPPER HEYFORD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Weedon Road, Upper Heyford as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Weedon Road, Upper Heyford from the junction 16 – M1 to Pannetoni Park roundabout.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during resurfacing works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th January 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for two nights.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (BLENHEIM ROAD, NORTHAMPTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Blenheim Road, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Blenheim Road, Northampton from Towcester Road to Hereward Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gas mains replacement works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd January 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 22nd January 2024.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Fawsley Road, Queen Eleanor Road and Towcester Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (BEDFORD ROAD, LITTLE HOUGHTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Bedford Road, Little Houghton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Bedford Road, Little Houghton from A428 to Home Acre.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation of high voltage electricity cable.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th January 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 31st January 2024.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Watering Lane, Collingtree as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Watering Lane, Collingtree from the junction with A45.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during resurfacing works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th January 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 23 days.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Church Lane, Kislingbury as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Church Lane, Kislingbury from the junction of Church Lane to Mill Lane.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a new water connection.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 11th December 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to five days.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Hastings Road, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Hastings Road, Northampton from Eastern Avenue North to Cranford Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during overhead telecom works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th December 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Eastern Avenue North, West Ridge and Cranford Road.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Glasgow Street, Northampton from the junction of Dundee Street to Holyrood Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th December 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st December 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
