What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Crabtree Road, Haddenham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Crabtree Road for approx 77M. Alternative route: Station Road, Churchway, Crabtree Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Sewer cleaning commences on 7 December 2023 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 December 2023, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Marsh Road, Shabbington) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Marsh Road for approx 16M. The closure is required whilst ukpn electrical works commences on 11 December 2023. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 December 2023, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Studley Road, Boarstall) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Studley Road for approx 36M. Alternative route: Brill Road, Oakley Road, Stanton St John Road, Honeyburge, Studley Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst thames water works commences on 13 December 2023. The proposed Order will come into operation on 13 December 2023, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

Public Footpath No. 4, Wendover (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2023 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Footpath No. 4, Wendover at the junction of the footpath with railway crossing. The closure is required in the interest of public safety due to unsafe level crossing infrastructure. Alternative route is via existing Public Highways, Wendover Road, A413, Nash Lee Lane, footpath No. 4A/1 and footpath 4/2. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6 December 2023 assigned, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

(Public Footpath No.7 (Part) Parish Of Waddesdon) Public Path Diversion Order 2023 made on 22 November 2023 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will divert the public footpath from SP74952-16332 NW for 274M to SP74726-16482 as shown on the Order map, to a line from SP74952-16332 W for 34M to SP74920-16340 then WNW for 210M to SP74713-16379, then N for 7M to SP74714-16386 as shown on the Order map and having a width of 3M throughout.

Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from the Council at a cost of £5.00 by writing to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team at the address given below. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing stating the grounds on which they are made to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team, 6th Floor, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA or email row@buckinghamshire.gov.uk by no later than 20 December 2023. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council is obliged to make any representations received in response to this notice open to public inspection.
