Highways Notice
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC –
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Hollins Lane,
Marbury Cum Quoisley
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council
in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made
an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Hollins Lane, Marbury cum Quoisley –
From junction with Hollyhurst Road to County Boundary.
The alternative route will be via Hollins Lane, Wirswall Road,
Terrick Road, Mile Bank Road, Mile Bank Road End of To Cheshire
County Boundary Hollyhurst, Mile Bank Road End Junction to
Cheshire County Boundary Brook Home Farm and vice versa which
is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 4 December 2023
and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as
is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway,
although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
Friday 15 December 2023.

TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Sheppenhall Lane, Newhall
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in
exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made
an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Sheppenhall Lane, Newhall – For its
full extent.
The alternative route will be via Whitchurch Road, Goldsmith
Lane, Rookery Lane and vice versa which is considered the most
suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 4 December 2023
and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as
is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway,
although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
Friday 15 December 2023.
