What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE EAST MEON ROAD, CLANFIELD, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of East Meon Road between its junction with Little Hyden Lane and its junction with South Downs Way. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: South Lane, Hambledon Road, Hyden Farm Lane, Clanfield Lane, Oxbourne Lane, Harvesting Lane, Butser Lane, Hogs Lodge Lane, Petersfield Lane, Chalton Lane
DURATION OF ORDER: from 27th November 2023 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 5 days between the hours 08:00 17:00).
