What is happening?

OXFORD CITY COUNCIL

(OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2011

NOTICE OF VARIATION

  1. Oxford City Council, with the consent of Oxfordshire County Council, proposes to vary the City of Oxford (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2011 (the 2011 Order).
  2. The variation will be known as THE CITY OF OXFORD (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES VARIATON No.2 2023) ORDER 2011 and will come into effect on 1st January 2024 and is supplemental to any previous variations of the 2011 Order.
  3. The effect of this variation is to provide for charging for off street parking at Florence Park Car Park and Godstow Road Car Park and other consequent changes.
  4. Full details may be found in a draft variation which is available for inspection at Oxford Town Hall, St Aldate’s , Oxford OX1 1BX, between the hours 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. Monday to Friday. The document will be available on the display stand to the right of the main entrance area in the Town Hall.
  5. The charges payable from 1st January 2024 are:

    1. hour – 90p
    2. 1-3 hours - £2.10

      3-5 hours - £4.10

      5-24 hours - £15.10

      Solo motor cycle- free

Florence Park Car Park

Wholly within a marked parking bay

Passenger vehicle, motor car, motor cycle with side car, solo motor cycle

All days

All hours

24 hours

For each of the specified classes of vehicle:-

  • hour – 90p
      1. 1-3 hours - £2.10

        3-5 hours - £4.10

        5-24 hours - £15.10
